The 17 global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a part of the 2030 ‘Transforming our World’ Agenda for Sustainable Development. The SDGs build on the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), in order to compensate for what these had not achieved. Overall the goals aim for a more inclusive, equitable and sustainable future.
